Book Report#5

In this book report#5, I was chose the book which the title is The Railway Children by E. Nesbit. This book was in level A2 Elementary and had 23379 count of word, and the genre is fantasy. This book was tell about 3 children named Bobbie, Peter, and Phyllis that was from rich family in London, they had anything and also they had mother&father who very loved them. They lived very happily, until one day, their life was chance. They must go with their mother, but without their father because he had some trouble but they don't know what it is. They was go far away from London, they was lived in a white house in the hill with the beautiful railway view, they was like that place, but now they were very poor. When they lived in there, they were had many experience, they often go to the station or play in the railway. One day, Bobbie found a newspaper in station, that said if their father was in prison, Bobbie tell her mother and they were very sad, but her mother said if that's not true, she said to Bobbie to not believe it. Bobbie didn't tell her brother&sister, she kept it alone. Then, Bobbie write a letter from a goodman to help her to find her father and got back her father to her. Bobbie, Peter, and Phyllis always waited their father, they alwasy hope that their father will back. A long time they wait about their father came to that station but he didn't, they don't gave up and also waited in that station, until one day a man was out in a train, that is their father, they was very happy and they shout a loud, their father was came after a long long time.
This is my favorite scene that I drew. There was 3 childs that was Bobbie, Peter, and Phyllis when they were at station, near their new house. They was met again with their father after a long time they waited, they looked happy and they was waved their hands to their father.
The reason why I chose this scene to be my favorite scene is because that was very happy ending story, and I also like a happy ending story too. From that scene, I also can felt that the childs felt too, that scene was very touched me, so I chose that scene. Beside that, from that scene I can learn that if we expect someone to came back in our life, we must to be patient and kept waiting.

ReplyDeleteFirst thing, you need to be careful with the language forms, especially the use of auxiliary.
For example:
you can't say: I was chose, but you say I chose.
you can't say: The book was tell, but you say: The book tells or The book is about.
you can't say: I also can felt, but you say: I also can feel.
and many more.
As far as I remember, there is a chapter in you Basic Grammar book about the use of Auxiliary or something like that. Please study that more carefully.
And for this report, I like your last statement: ... if we expect someone to come back in our life, we must be patient and kept waiting. Just like what happened in the story, right? The family never gave up their hope to their father.
